Sharing My New Poem in the Bellevue Literary Review and the BLR Benefit Recording

I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Ashley McMullen, physician, and board member of The Bellevue Literary Review. Here is a link to the BLR benefit, “Narrative Arc: The Journey from Writer to Reader,” which includes our discussion of my poem, “The James Webb Telescope Detects a Heartbeat.” Ashley and I join at 17:30, but I recommend you watch the entire uplifting broadcast.

Crossing “The Bridge on Beer River” This Week

Just a reminder, I will be reading from my new novel, The Bridge on Beer River, in the coming week, and I would love to see you at one of these events. The Poetry Flash and Orinda Books readings will be held in person. I really enjoy sharing my novel and interacting with a live audience.

The Grotto Night at the Library will be a Zoom event featuring two outstanding authors, Sophia Raday and Pia Chatterjee, who are my colleagues from the SF Writer’s Grotto. We will read and discuss how we apply the motifs of mystery writing within whodunits and literary fiction in general.
